With the advent of the social computing era, SocialComNet-2012 aims at reporting the most recent progresses, trends, and concerns in this rapidly growing area. Tutorial on Attribute-Based Credentials
Joint Workshop by ABC4Trust and PrimeLife

PrimeLife and ABC4Trust organize a joint tutorial explaining the basics of the technology, its potential spheres of application for privacy-enhancing technologies and some building blocks of the underlying cryptography. The tutorial will be held in Rüschlikon (near Zurich) on Friday June 10, 2011 and hosted by IBM Research Zurich.

Digital Identity: how we build, use and protect our presence on the network

A first lab-study on the di.me userware with 21 business and private end-users in Madrid, Karlsruhe, and Stuttgart is completed!

di.me consortium meets in Karlsruhe

CAS Software and YellowMap hosted the fourth di.me board meeting. This time, the consortium focused on the preparation of the first project review, to be held in November 2011.

Researchers from di.me visited the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

Researchers from DERI, University of Siegen and Barcelona Digital have met Sebastian Labitzke, a researcher at De-centralized Systems and Network Group of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.


DERI hosted the third di.me board meeting

Galway has been the scenario for the third di.me board meeting. The Consortium gathered three days to discuss the latest advancement of the project, after the achievement of Milestone 1 “Requirements and Userware Concept”.

di.me attended the Federated Social Web Summit Europe 2011

A position paper titled “digital.me – towards an integrated Personal Information Sphere” was submitted to the Federated Social Web Summit Europe 2011, a three day open event on Social Web interoperability, standards and privacy, which was celebrated last June 3rd to 5th 2011.
