With the advent of the social computing era, SocialComNet-2012 aims at reporting the most recent progresses, trends, and concerns in this rapidly growing area. This workshop will provide a forum for participants from the computing and social science communities and publish state-of-art research papers.

The International Conference on Information Technology - New Generations (ITNG) is an annual event focusing on state of the art technologies pertaining to digital information and communications.

Since 2003, the MUCS workshop (both independently and collocated with major conferences) has provided a very successful forum for researchers and practitioners to explore the theoretical, technological, and organizational challenges, and to present advances in management techniques and technologies, for pervasive computing and smart space applications.

PrimeLife and ABC4Trust organize a joint tutorial explaining the basics of the technology, its potential spheres of application for privacy-enhancing technologies and some building blocks of the underlying cryptography.
