Arrangement details for the first evaluation event took most of the meeting time.
Telecom Italia held the Di.me meeting in Venice on the 22nd ,23rd and 24th of May of 2012. A postcard scene along the canals shores with their winding and narrow streets was the framework of a meeting hosted in a XV century Venetian monastery, head office of the company in the ancient city.
Di.me has almost reached half way of its development and it's time to make a first validation. Thus, it is planned a first field validation during an event on the second half of 2012. Attendees to this event will test a prototype application (proof of concept -PoC) on their mobile or via web, provided with a set of basic functionalities. The project will compile users’ feedback in order to continue its development.
The meeting was intended mainly for fixing up technical and organizational details regarding the evaluation. Implementation needs and problems were listed in order to be sorted it out. Moreover, a di.me’s evaluation strategy was defined for the next event. This strategy includes aspects regarding the encouragement of attendees to use the PoC and the review of the di.me’s website content and its social networks.
Moreover, the consortium decided to arrange an additional meeting in Stuttgart aimed at the integration of the technical modules before the evaluation event.
