Abstract
This deliverable describes the current development of the di.me user interface concept that is the foundation for the implementation of di.me client application. The concept itself has already been subject to changes and refinements, which have been the results and findings of the first conducted lab studies and user tests. It resembles the first stable version of the user interface and its basic features. As the technical implementation of the prototypes progresses and new studies will be conducted, also this presented concept will again be refined.
Within the di.me project, there are several important research areas that affect the user interface. The areas of Intelligent User Interfaces and Personal Information Management, along with certain more specialized research fields are being discussed. With this, important current and possible future relevant research areas are being highlighted and shown.
